In her youth, Martie focused her studies on art and design. She enrolled in every art class at Topeka High School and any art classes available at Washburn University. Later in life, Martie worked as a receptionist for a small accounting firm. She enjoyed the atmosphere so much that she decided to get a degree in accounting. While earning her bachelor’s degree, she discovered her passion for marketing. She finished her BA and immediately dove into the MBA program with a focus on marketing. Today she uses her understanding of accounting, her artistic background, and her marketing training to drive Mize marketing projects.
